Ancestors Tabwa Console offers a timeless centerpiece of minimalistic silhouette with a unique and distinct character. A contemporary wooden furniture is transformed into an unique piece of art where each pattern is carefully carved by Ethnicraft's artisans.  Named after the Tabwa culture from Central Africa, the console’s inspiration comes from their fondness for linear geometric motifs.

Ethnicraft from Belgium creates beautiful furniture and decorative objects that are the foundation of people’s homes, to inspire the stories of their lives. All of their designs are intentionally timeless - they withstand trends and associate well with different styles, so they can be passed on from one home to the next, carrying over the stories of one lifetime into another.

Alain van Havre works fulltime for Ethnicraft as an in-house designer. The complexity of things has always intrigued him, which led him to study product development at the Design Academy of Eindhoven, The Netherlands. To him, all design embodies the same duality: the aim is to create a timeless product, yet with a hint to the specific moment in which it is made.
