Suspension Pendant Lamp

Suspension is a lamp with three lampshades, made of Japanese paper with a creased effect, and a painted metal frame. 

The height of the lamp can be adjusted by carefully raising the iron ring, or by lifting the shade itself. The paper is crinkled as an intended design attribute, as the material reacts to fluctuations from humidity. As changes in the rigidity of the shades can not be prevented, Suspension is not suited for environments with high humidity.
